Subject Specific Teacher Training Online Content  

Emirates School Establishment (ESE/MOE): December 2023 - November 2024

 The Challenge 

As part of the UAE Vision 2071 to elevate the quality of education nationwide, the Emirates Schools Establishment launched the Subject Specific Teacher Training Online Content (STTO) project in partnership with Etio and Queen Rania Teacher Academy (QRTA). QRTA played a central role in this initiative, leading the design and development of 1280 hours of specialized, self-paced digital content across core subjects including Arabic, English, math, and science.

Etio's role

As the leader of the consortium, our role was insuring relevance of the content to UAE culture, compliance with MOE quality standards, and on-time delivery of the project. The project targeted teachers in UAE public schools and aimed to both enhance pedagogical effectiveness and prepare educators for subject-specific licensing exams.

Drawing on its deep expertise in instructional design and digital education, QRTA developed 16 comprehensive online courses featuring 1280 videos in varied formats, 512 reading summaries grounded in current academic literature, and over 2,600 assessment questions. These were thoughtfully structured into 256 instructional weeks with bilingual delivery where needed. A dedicated e-learning team ensured seamless video production and platform integration via the Learning Curve system.

This large-scale project reflects Etio and QRTA's strong capabilities in high-impact digital content development and scalable teacher training solutions tailored to diverse learning needs.
